Set up Macquarie Authenticator

The Macquarie Authenticator app (Authenticator app) is available for Apple iOS and Android devices and is free to download from your app store – just search for Macquarie Authenticator on your mobile device, download the application and complete the registration process.
 

If you haven’t downloaded and registered for the Authenticator app, you won’t be able to continue to use Adviser Online.

Registered user

If you’ve already registered for Adviser Online, but haven’t downloaded and registered the Authenticator app, you can download the app by scanning the QR code in Adviser Online.

To access the QR code:

1. Visit Adviser Online
2. Enter your Access Code and password
3. Select Log in
4. On the Download and register for Macquarie Authenticator page, scan the QR code and follow the prompts to download and register the Authenticator app.

Please note, you will be asked for a ‘Macquarie ID’. This is your Access Code.

• If you’ve forgotten your Access Code, click here to retrieve it.
• If you’ve forgotten your password, click here to reset it.
• If you have never logged in to Adviser Online to create a password, click here to complete the registration process.

New user

When you first register for Adviser Online, you can also download the Authenticator app by scanning the QR code as part of the registration process.

To access the QR code:

1. Visit Adviser Online
2. From the Log in to Adviser Online page, select New to Adviser Online? Register now
3. Enter your Access Code and mobile number
4. Select Submit
5. Complete the verification step
6. Create your password
7. Select Submit
8. Complete your security questions
9. Select Submit
10. From the Download and register for Macquarie Authenticator app page, scan the QR code and follow the prompts to download and link your device to your Access Code. The Authenticator app requires you to enter your Macquarie ID, which is your Access Code.
11. Select Return to log in
12. Enter your Access Code and password
13. Follow the prompts on Adviser Online and the Authenticator app to access Adviser Online.

1. Click and confirm a 6-digit PIN for your Macquarie Authenticator app
2. Choose to use fingerprint Touch ID or facial recognition to login to the app (optional)
3. On the 'Add your Macquarie ID screen' select Add manually
4. Enter your Access Code (in the 'Macquarie ID' field) and password
5. Confirm Important Information
6. Click Next
7. Enter the SMS secure code that has been sent to your mobile (If you have already registered Macquarie Authenticator on another device, you'll be asked to verify from that device)
8. Click Done.

1. Log in to the Macquarie Authenticator app
2. Click Menu
3. Click Add new +
4. Click Add manually
5. Enter your new Access Code (in the 'Macquarie ID' field) and password
6. Click Log in.
