Real-time payments for Wrap Cash Accounts and Wrap Invest Cash Accounts

Our clients will be able to send and receive real-time payments using their Wrap Cash Account or Wrap Invest Cash Account via the New Payments Platform (NPP).  

Sending payments: Your client can send real-time payments from their Wrap Cash Account or Wrap Invest Cash Account internally (to other Wrap Cash Accounts or Wrap Invest Cash Accounts) or externally to other NPP-enabled institutions. Please read Payment cut off and processing times for other types of payment processing times.

Receiving payments: To receive real-time payments directly to your client’s Wrap Cash Account or Wrap Invest Cash Account, simply provide your client’s BSB and account number to the payer.    

NPP is a free service and your client will not be charged for using it. You can check which financial institutions are set up with NPP.

If you have an enquiry authority on your client’s account, you can view their transaction history via Adviser Online.

At this stage the NPP supports domestic payments only.

In the event that your client is attempting to send a real-time payment from their Wrap Cash Account or Wrap Invest Cash Account to an account which is not real-time enabled, the payment will be processed via Direct Entry.

If your client is expecting to receive an inbound real-time payment, please contact the payer institution if they have not received the payment.
