Have you changed devices?

If you’ve previously registered the Macquarie Authenticator app (Authenticator app) on another device, you’ll need to verify your new device registration via a push notification on your previously registered device.

Once you’ve verified your new device, please remember to deactivate your previous device if you’re no longer using it. Please refer to instructions under Stop using Macquarie Authenticator below.

Don’t have access to your old device?

For your security, we register all your devices that have installed the Authenticator app. If you no longer have your old device, for example, you’ve lost your phone, you’ll need to call us on the relevant number below:

We’ll de-register your old device so you can set up the Authenticator app on your new device.

Stop using Macquarie Authenticator

If you no longer want to use the Authenticator app on your device, you need to remove your Macquarie ID (Access Code) from the Authenticator app to keep your account secure.

Please note that whenever the Authenticator app asks you for your Macquarie ID, this is your existing Access Code that you use to log in to the online portal.

This will stop notifications from being sent to this device. You will also no longer be able to verify actions from this device.

To remove your Access Code in the Macquarie Authenticator:

  1. Log in to the Authenticator app
  2. Select the Menu option at the bottom right of the screen
  3. Select the three-dot icon on the Macquarie ID tile
  4. Select Deregister Macquarie ID
  5. Your Access Code will be delinked from the Authenticator app.

To remove your Access Code in the online portal:

  1. Click on the Settings icon from the side-menu and select My security
  2. Scroll down to Connected devices
  3. Click Manage
  4. Find the device you wish to deactivate the Authenticator app from and click Deactivate app
  5. We’ll send an actionable push notification to your registered device to verify yourself
  6. Select Approve.
